Sharene Shariatzadeh, Director of Business Development

Sharene Shariatzadeh has led business development for some of Chicago’s most prominent cultural and business institutions. Most recently she served as vice president of business development and latest president of The Chicago Conservation Center, the nation’s leading art restoration laboratory. Previously, she was director of corporate and foundation relations at Steppenwolf Theatre Company and the first in-house bookings director for The Joffrey Ballet. She began her business development career at Leslie Hindman Auctioneers, the Midwest’s leading fine art auction house.

Additionally, Shariatzadeh raised capital from some of Puerto Rico’s most prominent business leaders to launch the island’s first online auction site, IslaZ.com. The site was later purchased by a subsidiary of the island’s major newspaper, El Nuevo Dia.

Shariatzadeh serves as treasurer of Chicago’s Cultural Mile Association.
