Robert Blagojevich looked disheartened but spoke with defiance Tuesday after the verdict was announced.
Asked if he could afford another trial, Blagojevich said he’ll have to “evaluate that” and referred to the case against him and his brother as “the most surreal experience anyone could live through.”
Blagojevich’s attorney Michael Ettinger told reporters that the defense may call U.S. Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. to the stand in a retrial.
