Rod Blagojevich walked into the Dirksen Federal Building very matter-of-factly this morning, flanked by his posse of lawyers.
About 10 minutes before Blagojevich arrived, his lawyer Sheldon Sorosky held a quick pen-and-pad session with television reporters in which he threw out some names of potential witnesses. Among them, he mentioned the possibility of Illinois Gov. Pat Quinn being called to the stand. Sorosky also speculated that indicted Blagojevich fundraiser Tony Rezko would be called by the government. “I don’t see how they could not call him,” Sorosky said.
Quinn said last week that he’s not concerned about the political implications of the trial and made a point of distinguishing himself from his two-time running mate, whom he called “an honest person” while defending him during the 2006 campaign.

A number of questions about Mr. Rezko have never been answered.
Is there anyone reading this blog who can put some insight into why or
why not these questions remain unanswered.
1. Rezko was convicted but never sentenced. Was he sentenced secretly? If so, why?
If not, why not?
2. Does Rezko have or has he already given exculpatory evidence on Blagojevich that
Patrick Ftizgerald has not turned over to the defense that he is legally compelled to do?
3. Does Rezko have evidence on the guilt or innocence of other parties to this
case , such as President Obama, himself? Has that evidence been made available to the defense, as required by law!
4. Is Patrick Fitzgerald engaged in “selective,” and/or “vindictive’ prosecution of Blagojevich, as long-time Democratic consultant and physical economist Lyndon LaRouche have charged?
pat, you can jog, but you can’t hide… Please answer these questions now, to save yourself from
embarrassment and legal problems of your own making, later!
