BONNIE TRAFELET
A professional photojournalist for more than 25 years, Bonnie has won numerous awards, including sharing the the Pulitzer Prize won by the Chicago Tribune for its 2001 series "Gateway to Gridlock." She was a staff photographer for the Tribune from 1997 to 2009, working on sports, news, features, studio photography and multimedia projects. She photographed public figures, including Richard M. Daley, Princess Diana and Barack Obama.
Before joining the Tribune, Bonnie worked for several Chicago-area newspapers, including the Daily Herald and Northwest Herald and freelanced in Michigan for United Press International. She has a degree in journalism from Central Michigan University.
