How sad that we continue to talk about a "black" agenda instead of an American agenda. Sorry, gang, but the subprime mortage crisis set off this economic meltdown and it was enabled by Barney Frank, Chris Dodd and the Congressional Black Caucus. Only then did the banks--forced to give bad loans--get into trouble (for which they have to take the blame). Still, the whole idea that government is responsible for fixing people's problems and their lives is the source of the problems we are experiencing today: government intervention is the problem.

I watched most of the discussion on c-span. Is there a document that lists the specifics of the "Black Agenda" or is that just a rallying cry? I have searched and been unsuccessful in finding. Thanks.

Valid points overall, but Bush bailed out the vast majority of the banks. So many people misunderstand this.
